The best Featherdown hosts so far

“Richard was welcoming, friendly, chatty and a wonderful host. Pizza Night was great, with homemade pizzas and chocolate dessert. We loved the tent’s location, looking towards the cows at the bottom of the field.”

A blessing for any blended family, group or couple

“Our first holiday as a blended family had all the potential to be disastrous with no Wi-Fi and totally off grid. Hands down, it was the best experience we’ve all had for years. The kids felt free and independent.”

Meet Wendy and Richard

Close to the Cotswolds

If you’re longing to explore outside the farm, the ancient city of Gloucester city is just five miles away, famous for its iconic cathedral and history that dates back to Roman times, whilst nearby Stroud, near Cirencester in the Cotswolds, was voted England’s Best Place to Live in 2021 in the Sunday Times. Cheltenham is just 20 minutes away for a wander around the town or perhaps a ticket to the races. If the Cotswolds are your thing, the chances are that your drive home will take you past Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘Diddly Squat’ farm, as well as Bourton-on-the-Water, regularly voted one of England’s prettiest villages near the river Severn.
